The Owen MBA program includes an intense immersion in core business fundamentals. All students are required to complete these core courses, equipping them with a firm understanding of all aspects of business management. Upon completion of the core classes, students have the opportunity to specialize, concentrate or emphasize in a particular field of interest. Vanderbilt MBAs work for an average of five years before enrolling, and they build upon this experience with internships and for-credit business projects. During the program, Owen also offers a wide range of case competitions, real-world consulting projects, and leadership roles in professional, social and civic clubs to aid students in enhancing their qualifications.
