2022 SEPA Australia Executive Fact Finding Mission

ScottMadden was the executive sponsor for SEPA’s 2022 Executive Fact-Finding Mission from November 13-18 in Australia.  Utility and distributed energy executives engaged in deep discussions and candid sharing. They return home with practical, applicable lessons for their companies that may inform planning and future efforts.

Energy systems worldwide are being challenged like never before by fires, extreme heat, hurricanes, and other climate changes.

• Retailers, generators, and distributors face unique challenges. What business models will help each piece of the value chain thrive?
• Can large-scale battery storage successfully replace aging coal plants?
• What is the role of green hydrogen in the transformation, and will renewables be the new energy export?
