A transmission and distribution operator faced heavy manual workload, inconsistent reimbursement tracking, and limited visibility into federally funded project submissions. Multiple data sources, non-standard eligibility logic, and manual validation steps created delays and data quality risks. ScottMadden designed and implemented an automated reconciliation and reporting solution that consolidated data, standardized rules, and delivered real-time financial transparency.

- Defined cross-functional requirements and aligned finance, PMO, and T&D operations on data needs, eligibility rules, workflow expectations, and reporting requirements to ensure a unified solution
- Developed validation rules and automated submission workflows replaced manual checks with rule-based logic and guided submission processes to reduce effort and improve consistency
- Integrated ERP transactions with historical reimbursement data and consolidated multiple internal and external data sources to create a reconciled “single source of truth” supporting accurate and timely submissions
- Built interactive dashboards to delivered visibility into reimbursement status, exceptions, and funding progress, enabling faster review cycles and improved financial governance
