Challenge

A Caribbean airport, serving more than one million passengers annually, faced mounting challenges in maintaining reliable asset performance and a consistent customer experience amidst a $200+ million capital improvement program and a post-COVID surge in travel demand. These challenges were amplified by the unique regulatory environment governing airports, supply chain challenges related to island operations, and the absence of a robust asset management strategy. ScottMadden was engaged to conduct a strategic assessment that would not only diagnose current operational gaps but also align maintenance and asset management with enterprise-level objectives across safety, customer experience, and innovation.
