Challenge
Electric vehicle charging developers differ from traditional building developers in their siting flexibility, load characteristics, and construction activities. Meeting these needs required re-thinking a new business process designed around buildings. Our client, a large northeastern U.S. electric utility, engaged ScottMadden to identify and pursue opportunities to improve the electric vehicle charger interconnection process to capitalize on the opportunity for electrification load growth and exceed customer expectations.
