Next Generation Cyber Security for Utilities Conference

ScottMadden will join top experts as a sponsor and presenter at the Active Communications International (ACI) Next Generation Cyber Security for Utilities conference being held November 8–9 in Washington, DC. This event provides a unique platform to discuss preventing, protecting, monitoring, and responding to cyber attacks affecting utilities today.

During this event, Henry Bell, director at ScottMadden, will join Steven Noess of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Caroline Trum of the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) as a panelist for the session, “Strategy Is the Best Security.” This panel will explore how to apply mandatory reliability standards; diversify partners, participation, and providers; and integrate preparedness through early detection of threats to operational systems. Michael Johnson of the National Cybersecurity Institute (NCI) at Excelsior College will serve as moderator.
