Key Lessons Learned on the SEPA Executive Fact-Finding Mission to Germany

ScottMadden, Inc., one of North America’s leading energy consulting firms, will partner with the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) to present the webinar, “Key Lessons Learned on the SEPA Executive Fact-Finding Mission to Germany,” on Thursday, October 30, 2014, from 2:00–3:00 PM EDT. This session will present top findings and insights learned from this fact-finding mission. SEPA, ScottMadden, and a select group of executive participants from the mission will explore the energy transition in Germany and related challenges, opportunities, and new business models.

This one-hour session, designed for utility and solar market stakeholders interested in planning and business development, will include an insightful presentation, a facilitated discussion, and the opportunity to post questions to the panel. Attendees will learn:

  • Key takeaways from the fact-finding mission
  • Utility insights on the energy transition in Germany and parallels to the U.S. market
  • Business models being developed and explored by German energy market stakeholders

Panelists will include: John Sterling, senior director of research & advisory services at SEPA; Chris Vlahoplus, partner and clean tech & sustainability practice lead at ScottMadden; Aaron Johnson, senior director of customer programs at PG&E; Frankie McDermott, chief customer officer at Sacramento Municipal Utility District (TBC); and Doug Hunter, general manager at Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems.

This webinar is free to SEPA members and $199 for non-SEPA members.
