ScottMadden, Inc., one of North America’s leading energy consulting firms, recently partnered with the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) to conduct a multi-client benchmarking study on renewable energy organizational structure within North American electric utilities. This study benchmarked key renewable energy activities and functions within participating utilities and examined how different utilities organized their renewable energy groups and functions. Example metrics analyzed included FTE/megawatt of renewable energy and FTE/1,000 interconnections.
