Universities
Emory
Goizueta is ranked as a top-tier business school by BusinessWeek, U.S. News and World Report, and the Financial Times.
Emory’s Goizueta Business School is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and has an enrollment of approximately 400 full-time MBA students.
The Goizueta curriculum is specially designed to meet the changing landscape of business. Factors such as globalization, increasingly complex business problems, and the need for data-driven decision making are incorporated into the school’s program. All students are required to complete core courses designed and sequenced to ensure development of critical business skills. Upon completion of core courses, students can choose to specialize in a particular area through a variety of business concentrations. Goizueta places particular importance on leadership training and developing communication skills. The school offers an intensive year-long communication program, which enables graduates to be strong team players and leaders upon beginning their post-graduation careers.
Georgia Tech
Although a relatively young program, the school has been ranked as a top-30 management program by BusinessWeek and U.S. News and World Report.
Located in Atlanta, Georgia, The Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business has an enrollment of about 150 students.
The Georgia Tech curriculum is quantitative in nature and provides opportunities for students to develop the skills and thought processes to effectively manage changing technological environments. Additionally, the program is designed to develop valued leaders in a variety of fields by exposing students to the social, environmental, political, ethical, and international factors shaping the global marketplace. Georgia Tech requires all students to complete a series of foundation courses to develop a strong baseline for understanding business environments. Upon completion of the foundation courses, students have the opportunity to broadly pursue management electives, customize electives to specific, traditional functional areas, or pursue immersive tracks designed for leading innovation in technology, analytics, or digital transformation. Significant work experience combined with a strong quantitative education allows Georgia Tech’s graduates to approach business problems in a methodical manner and develop solid, fact-based solutions.
UNC
Kenan-Flagler is consistently ranked as a top 20 business school by U.S. News and World Report, the Financial Times, Forbes, BusinessWeek, and The Wall Street Journal.
Located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School has an enrollment of approximately 600 students.
The curriculum at Kenan-Flagler is general management focused, providing students with the ability to approach business problems from multiple angles and develop strategic solutions. The school also emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and communication throughout the program to prepare students to be immediately effective in their career while preparing for long-term leadership success. On average, Kenan-Flagler students have one of the highest years of work experience prior to enrollment in a graduate business program. The combination of this real-world experience with formalized classroom education results in candidates with strong analytical skills who are comfortable in business settings and ready to make a positive impact on business operations.
