Outsourcing RFI and RFP Development

Establishing a reasonable fee schedule is merely one aspect of selecting a vendor. With the complexities of today's business world, it's also important to consider financial health, and competitive and political realities before making a commitment about any outsourcer.

We can start by helping you make an informed decision about your outsourcing needs. We maintain relationships with numerous vendors who provide services in a variety of functional areas, and we can help you develop a short list based on your size, functional needs and performance requirements.

If further information is required to clarify requirements and strategy, a request for information (RFI) can be developed to engage vendors in a productive discussion. An RFI gives the vendor enough information about your operations and objectives for them to provide information that can enable you to clarify the project's scope, costs and performance requirements.

After the strategy, objectives and scope are determined, a formal RFP may be developed. ScottMadden can help you specify requirements and draft the RFP, with a focus on providing enough business and legal detail for the vendor to develop a comprehensive outsourcing proposal. We can also help you evaluate the proposals and select a final vendor.
