The NHRG was formed to accomplish the following objectives:
- Provide tools such as performance metrics, reports, and workshops that impact plant/utility costs
- Identify methods and standards for controlling nuclear human resource costs
- Review and update of the NEI Standard Nuclear Performance Model and SS004 “Providing Human Resource Services”
- Demonstrate value to participating nuclear electric utilities
- Provide information to the group in a timely and cost effective manner
- Continue the professionalism of the nuclear human resources group
