The EU-TAG was formed to accomplish the following objectives:
- Provide tools such as metrics, reports, and workshops on staffing and recruiting topics
- Provide new staffing & recruiting metrics (implemented in 2008)
- Identify methods and standards for controlling staffing and recruiting costs
- Demonstrate value to participating utilities
- Provide information to the group in a timely and cost effective manner
- Continue the professionalism of the staffing and recruiting group
