The New Loan Guarantee Program

DOE issued two new Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) for Federal Loan Guarantee opportunities. FOA-0000132 is for electric transmission infrastructure and FOA-0000140 is for projects that employ innovative energy efficiency, renewable energy, and advanced transmission and distribution technologies. Both FOAs are multi-part and multi-round,with Part I applications due  September 14, 2009 for FOA-0000132  and from September 14, 2009 to August 24, 2010 for FOA-0000140.  We summarize eligibility requirements, the application process and the review criteria, along with the process we are applying to help companies prepare effective applications.  Read more.
