Our Working Environment

Frequent interaction with other ScottMadden consultants, both at the client site and our offices, is an important part of the ScottMadden culture and our success. The types of projects we execute, including strategy development, business planning, operations improvement, organization design and staffing, and project and change management, are testament to our breadth of experience. While our consultants might travel to client sites Monday through Thursday, we like to reserve Friday as office time.

Our Work

ScottMadden is a general management consulting firm. The types of projects we execute, including strategy development, business planning, operations improvement, organization design and staffing, and project and change management, are testament to the breadth of our experience. Our primary industry focus is energy, however, our projects run the spectrum of industries and markets, including entertainment, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and government. Our practice areas include energy, shared services, outsourcing and general management solutions.

We typically staff our consulting engagements with small teams—one to three consultants paired with one working partner. This arrangement makes each consultant's contribution vital to the success of each project. Our consultants have greater responsibility and client contact at each level than they might have at larger consulting firms where project teams can be significantly larger.

Moreover, our consultants' ability to work closely with our partners affords them ample opportunity for learning, skill development, and career advancement.
