ScottMadden - Management Consultants

Careers

ScottMadden's culture is collegial, entrepreneurial and, in many ways, the reason for our continued success. We reward initiative and independence as well as the ability to work collaboratively in teams.

We typically staff our consulting engagements with small teams—one to three consultants paired with one working partner. This arrangement makes each consultant's contribution vital to the success of each project. Our consultants have greater responsibility and client contact at each level than they might have at larger consulting firms where project teams can be significantly larger.

We serve clients with five levels of consultants: associates, senior associates, managing associates, directors, and partners. There is no minimum service required at each level, and the partners consider consultant promotions each quarter.

The majority of our consultants have MBA degrees and significant work experience. When a consultant joins us at the associate level, however, experience in consulting or a particular functional area or industry is not required. When we hire at levels above associate, we seek a combination of consulting and/or industry experience. Experience in one or more of our two major practice areas—energy and shared services—is also highly regarded. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

ScottMadden is an Equal Opportunity employer, and the firm has established a documented affirmative action program.
