Doug Utley, Partner
Doug Utley has specialized in organizational design and staffing, process reengineering, and process automation. He is a recognized leader in service center technologies, including their planning, design, integration, and implementation. His 25-year career in the U.S. Air Force included high-level policy formulation, organizational design, and strategic planning. He earned an M.B.A. from the Florida Institute of Technology and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University.

- Assisted a major utility with planning, designing, and implementing new HR organizations, processes, and delivery model
- Developed a technology strategy for the distribution business unit of a large southeastern energy company
- Assisted a major entertainment company with centralization of security administration, which improved financial controls related to Sarbanes-Oxley
- Consulted with a governmental shared services organization to compare costs of service providers and recommended service consolidations at four overseas locations
- Consulted with a large forest products company on the optimum support model for a company-wide implementation of a SAP backbone
- Assisted an electronics manufacturer in designing a technology suite for its new human resources (HR) service center
- Facilitated design of a regional HR organization for a large pharmaceutical company in Puerto Rico
- Assisted a department of the U.S. government in reengineering its information technology organization and processes
- Helped a department of the U.S. government develop plans and design technologies to enable internet capabilities and render administrative services more efficient
