Jere Jacobi

Partner and Clean Tech and Infrastructure Practice Lead


Jere Jacobi is the ScottMadden practice area lead for Sustainability, Clean Tech, and Infrastructure. He has over 30 years combined experience in business development, technology development, environmental compliance management, and management consulting that encompasses a number of local and global companies in the public and private sector. He has provided consulting and management services to LDC operations, nuclear operations and fossil plant operations, and he has led engagements in strategic assessment and planning, enterprise asset management, benchmarking, process reengineering, corporate governance and business model assessment. In addition, Jere has experience in transmission/RTO management, work force management and in development of renewable energy strategies and business models.  Jere earned a B.A. in economics and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Prior to joining ScottMadden, he was employed by Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte Consulting, Wisconsin Energy Corporation, Stone & Webster Engineering and the United States Navy.

  • Managed the formation of an R&D driven products development Joint Venture
  • Performed several air quality group environmental assessments
  • Managed renewable development projects including assisting clients in development of renewable strategies and businesses
  • Performed detailed market assessments for companies, products, and Regional Transmission (RTO) organizations
