Brad DeMent leads the multi-function shared services practice at ScottMadden and is also the leader of the Latin American shared services operations. With more than 15 years of domestic and international consulting experience, Brad brings extensive experience designing, improving, and merging shared services operations. Although his focus is on shared services strategy and implementation, Brad also has experience in building multi-functional shared services operations in Mexico, Central America, and South America. His areas of industry expertise include energy utilities, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, media/entertainment, manufacturing, and defense. Prior to joining ScottMadden, he worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton, where he managed several system-related projects for local, state, and federal governments. Brad earned a B.S. in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a minor in industrial/organizational psychology. He has an M.B.A. with a focus on finance from George Washington and Marymount University, summa cum laude.

  • Designed and implemented a multi-functional shared services operation for a chocolate and coffee company in Manizales, Colombia. Operations serviced Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Panama
  • Designed and implemented a purchase-to-pay shared services center in San Pedro Sula, Honduras for the second largest beer distributer in the world. Operations serviced Honduras, El Salvador, and Panama
  • Redesigned finance and IT organizations for a building products and ceramic company in Colombia
  • Designed a multi-function shared services operation for a large pharmaceutical division in Colombia servicing Peru, Ecuador, and Venezuela
  • Designed a multi-function shared services operation for the largest food products company in Ecuador
  • Designed and implemented a financial shared services center for a leading German automobile manufacturer
  • Designed and implemented a multi-function shared services center in Mexico for a manufacturing company
