
Sam Poston, a partner and senior vice president with ScottMadden, leads the firm’s shared services and federal government practices. Sam has been a management consultant for more than 30 years, working both as a consultant and a line manager in the utility industry. He has served more than 50 clients in a variety of industries, including energy, utilities, federal government, technology, entertainment, pulp and paper, services, retail, and manufacturing. Sam specializes in linking internal shared services delivery systems to corporate strategies and goals, and he is internationally recognized as an expert in bringing about organizational transformation. Sam earned a B.S. in psychology/social work from Ball State University and an M.S.W. from the University of Michigan. He is a graduate of the advanced program in organizational development and human resource management, a joint program of Columbia University and the University of Michigan. Prior to joining ScottMadden in 1991, Sam was manager of human resources for GE Plastics.
